In The Learnatory Entrepreneurship workshop, your budding business person can take a deep dive into the entrepreneurial process and learn how to launch the venture they've always dreamed of. They will ideate, create, and evaluate a business plan from scratch while using best practices, case studies, and business lessons.
Week 1: Intro to Entrepreneurship and Business Ideation
The hands-on introduction to entrepreneurship begins with basic principles of how to come up with a business idea, concepts of design thinking, and business modeling, including case studies from successful global startups. Participants learn how to work as a team to create meaningful social and economic value, how to conduct market research, how to prototype a product or a service, and how to test the market fit. The first week concludes with a pitch session where their business ideas and business plans are showcased to the class and staff.
Week 2: Launch and Scale up your Business
During the second week, participants learn about management, execution and the fundamentals of how to scale up their businesses. They will also learn fundraising strategies and how to present their business to investors employing the tools and methodologies used by successful entrepreneurs. As startup founders, they will compete in a startup pitch competition to raise funds for their venture. The winner receives a cash prize that they can use towards scaling their startup!
