Monday

Students will explore Java fundamentals through an introduction to variables, operators, if statements, random, number, and loops in Repl.it. They will practice by utilizing coding fundamentals in basic projects.

Tuesday

As students progress, they will use Java methods and classes while building projects such as Madlibs and Battle Arena.

Wednesday

Next, students will explore two different algorithms, search and sort, along with previous coding concepts. They will create a series of Java coding projects such as Linear Search, Binary Search, Selection Sort, and Insertion Sort.

Thursday

Students will utilize the concepts learned to design the final project of the week. With instructor guidance, students will design a Tic Tac Toe game complete with menus, rules, and playability.
